Doctor Wendy James (PhD) is an Australian academic in the accounting and business field. Wendy has taught at a number of universities in Australia, as well as overseas.
Along with a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Business with first class honours—both majoring in accounting—Dr James holds a PhD in Accounting. The title of her thesis is The Impact of Corporatisation and National Competition Policy on the Management Control System of an Australian Queensland Electricity Corporation: A Processual Case Study Approach Informed by an Institutional Perspective.
Dr James is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and is also a member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (CMA).
